Moist Chocolate Cake

This is easy to make and it produces a beautiful light, moist cake.
Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 550 ml Flour
  • 350 ml Sugar
  • 20 ml Baking Powder
  • 60 ml Cocoa
  • 1 ml Salt
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 275 ml Oil
  • 5 ml Vanilla Essence
  • 275 ml Boiling water
  • 4 Egg whites

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. Grease and line two 200 mm cake tins with wax paper.
  • Sift dry ingredients together in a 2 L Mix-N-Stor.
  • Shake egg yolks, oil and vanilla well together in Quick Shake.
  • Add to dry ingredients with boiling water. Mix well with Paddle Scraper.
  • Whip egg whites until stiff in 1 L Mix-N-Stor with electric beater or in Quick Shake. Fold into mixture with Paddle Scraper.
  • Pour batter into prepared tins. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
