
Moist Chocolate Cake
This is easy to make and it produces a beautiful light, moist cake.
Ingredients
- 550 ml Flour
- 350 ml Sugar
- 20 ml Baking Powder
- 60 ml Cocoa
- 1 ml Salt
- 4 Egg yolks
- 275 ml Oil
- 5 ml Vanilla Essence
- 275 ml Boiling water
- 4 Egg whites
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. Grease and line two 200 mm cake tins with wax paper.
- Sift dry ingredients together in a 2 L Mix-N-Stor.
- Shake egg yolks, oil and vanilla well together in Quick Shake.
- Add to dry ingredients with boiling water. Mix well with Paddle Scraper.
- Whip egg whites until stiff in 1 L Mix-N-Stor with electric beater or in Quick Shake. Fold into mixture with Paddle Scraper.
- Pour batter into prepared tins. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
