Golden Fried Fish

This is one of the tastiest methods of cooking fresh fish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1,5 kg Fish fillets
  • 50 ml Flour, seasoned
  • Oil for deep frying

Batter:

  • 375 ml Flour
  • 10 ml Fish spice
  • 10 ml Aromat/Fonder
  • 10 ml Dried parsley
  • 1 ml Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 125 ml Cold water
  • 30 ml Powered milk

Instructions
 

  • Roll the fish in the seasoned flour, to coat.
  • Mix the flour and seasonings together in a space saver bowl.
  • Shake the eggs, water and milk powder together in the quick shake. Add to the dry ingredients and mix well with paddle scraper. The mixture should have consistency like pancake batter - add extra water if it's too thick.
  • Heat the oil in a large pot.
  • Coat the fish in the batter and fry lightly, until golden brown. Drain the fish on paper towel.

Notes

Do not fry too many pieces of fish at once, or the temperature of the oil will drop and the fish will absorb more oil and become soggy and unappetizing.
