Easiest slower cooker recipe ever

This recipe is best in a slow cooker but can be done on the stove.

Ingredients
  

  • Meat or chicken for cooking even the toughest cuts come out as soft as butter
  • 125 ml pure apple juice or orange juice per kg of meat or chicken
  • 1 sticks of cinnamon per kg of meat or chicken
  • Your favourite meat or chicken seasoning/rub. I use equal amounts of garlic powder onion powder and paprika (great as a braai spice also).

Instructions
 

  • Spice the meat or chicken. If you want you can brown the meat or chicken, this does add to the flavour slightly, but I am often in too much of a hurry before work, so I just stick it in.
  • Place everything in your slow cooker and set to auto and leave for about 6 to 8 hours.
  • If you prefer to use one setting or have an older slow cooker, you can cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.
  • It is easier to slice cooked meat evenly when it is cool. I do this especially when I want to use the meat or chicken as a cold lunch.
