
Ever So Simple Mango Ice-Cream
A simple dessert recipe with a delicious taste.
Ingredients
- 1 tin Concentrated mango juice
- 1 pkt Choc-Kits biscuits, crushed
- 50 ml Butter, melted
- 125 ml pecan or walnuts, chopped
- 1,5 l vanilla ice-cream
Instructions
- Allow the concentrated mango juice to thaw.
- Soften ice-cream and add mango juice. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into an oiled Jel-ring and Tri-Jel mould with flower seal. Freeze for 1 hour.
- Mix the biscuits, 100 ml of nuts and butter together.
- Place biscuit mixture on top of ice cream, seal and freeze overnight.
- Turn out and decorate with remaining nuts, kiwi fruit or pureed mango.
Notes
You can also use 4 Snack Cups in place of the Tri-Jel Mould, for the individual portions.
