
Mince meat ragout
A delicious mince meat recipe that serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 500 gm lean beef mince
- 3 large baby marrows sliced
- 8 rosa tomatoes
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 125 g mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 green pepper diced
- 1 table spoon oil
- 1 tsp Korma
Instructions
- Fry onion, garlic and korma spice in oil, till soft.
- Add diced pepper and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add baby marrows and tomatoes and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add water and tomato sauce and simmer for 10 more minutes.
- Lastly add your mince and simmer till brown and the vegetables are tender but not mushy.
- Serve with starch of your choice.
