
Sweet Fish Curry
A fish curry with a slight kick. Serves 4-6 people
Ingredients
- Oil for frying
- 500 gm firm white fish like hake
- 250 ml milk
- 250 gm green beans
- 1 onion sliced
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 1-2 tsp Masala spice depends on how spicy you like it
- 1/2 tsp Tumeric
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 50 gm tomato paste
- salt and pepper to taste
- Basmati rice cooked as per instructions
Instructions
- Heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic with the Masala spice, tumeric and ginger, until the onion is soft.
- Add the milk and the tomato paste and stir. Add the fish and green beans.
- Cover and simmer till the fish flakes easily. Season to taste.
- Serve over Basmati rice
