Chicken Macaroni

Make this delicious casserole with left over chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 x 500 grams Pkt of Macaroni
  • 35 ml Oil
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 300 grams Mushrooms, chopped
  • 375 ml Milk
  • 1 Pkt Mushroom soup powder
  • 1 x 410 grams Tin evaporated milk
  • 600 grams Cooked chicken, roughly chopped
  • 2 ml Mixed herbs
  • 250 ml Grated Cheese (100g)
  • 2 ml Paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  • Cook macaroni in boiling water until soft. Drain. add 15ml oil to prevent sticking together.
  • Heat the remaining oil and fry the onions. Add the mushrooms and fry until soft.
  • Mix the milk and soup powder together in the quick shake. Add to the ingredients in saucepan, together with evaporated milk. Cook until thick, stirring all the time.
  • Add the chicken, herbs, two thirds of the cheese and the macaroni.
  • Place mixture in a large casserole dish. Sprinkle paprika and the remaining cheese on top. Bake for about 20 minutes.
